In late Summer the Pink Cosmos blooms in our front yard. I came across Huff and Puff, a bullsnake crossing a trail in the San Mateo Mountains and brought him home to photograph. He was easy to pick up and only in the carrying cage did he begin to huff and puff all the way home, but within a day was mellow enough to be handled and photographed. The following week I returned him back to his home.
